"If you know your history"

Liverpool Flying School although now based at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, can go back as far as the swinging sixties.

The school derives from Liverpool Aero Club formed by Jim Keen in 1963. The first aeroplane used was the brand new Piper Colt. Since then the school has taught thousands of people to fly. Some have gone on to fly for the airlines while others just for the fun of it, or for business purposes.

The school has owned over 40 different training aircraft and and has a current membership of 250 pilots / trainees. It operates five aircraft from the new premises.

With the vast experience the school has, we always pride ourselves on a professional and friendly service with that personal touch.
